Flex Hydraulics is a fully equipped engineering hub. We don’t just swap parts; we diagnose, machine, and rebuild to OEM standards. From precision Line Boring to complex Hydraulic Piston Pump repairs, our facility in Benoni handles it all.
The “Strip & Assess” Process We believe in transparency. Every component that enters our workshop undergoes a rigorous Strip & Assess process. We dismantle the unit, clean it, measure tolerances against OEM specs, and provide a detailed damage report before any work begins.
Cylinder Design, Manufacture & Repair We are one of the few facilities capable of handling the entire cylinder lifecycle:
- Hydraulic Cylinders Repairs: We repair leaking cylinders, replace seals, and polish shafts.
- Barrel Honing: We have in-house honing capabilities to restore cylinder barrels, removing scoring and ensuring a perfect seal.
- Chroming & Grinding: We refurbish damaged piston rods through precision hard chroming and grinding.
- New Manufacture: If a cylinder is beyond repair, we design and manufacture a replacement from scratch.
Pumps, Motors & Valve Technology
- Pumps & Motors: We refurbish Hydraulic Gear Pumps, Hydraulic Piston Pumps, and motors. Our test bench facilities ensure every pump meets pressure and flow requirements before installation.
- Lapping: Precision lapping of valve plates and cylinder blocks to ensure flat, leak-free surfaces.
- Control Systems: Diagnostics and repair of Hydraulic Valves and solenoids.
Truck & Heavy Equipment Repairs We offer a “Bumper to Bumper” solution for commercial fleets.
- Truck Body Repairs & Panel Beating: Accidents happen. Our Truck Panel Beating team repairs collision damage, while our boilermakers handle general Truck Body Repairs.
- Fleet Maintenance: We offer specialised Tow Truck Repairs, Tipper Truck Repairs (including bin and hinge work), and Crane Truck Repairs.
- Equipment Mechanical Repairs: Engine, gearbox, and drivetrain repairs for heavy-duty trucks.
General Engineering & Yellow Plant
- Yellow Plant Bucket Repairs: We hard-face, re-tip, and rebuild worn buckets for excavators and front-end loaders.
- Line Boring: On-site or in-house line boring to restore worn pivot points to their original size.
- Machining: General Machining and General Engineering (turning and milling) for custom shafts, bushes, and pins.
